IBID Press has decided to service the new mathematics courses with five books. This will hope to help schools with effective timetabling by allowing multiple courses to be taught in parallel. This series of texts has been written for the IB Courses Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches and Mathematics: Applications and Interpretations that start teaching in August 2019.
The new syllabus has been constructed to facilitate this by providing a common core of topics that must be taught to all mathematics students. This material has been collected into the IBID Common Core text. This book also contains a chapter on the new ‘Toolbox’ requirements of the courses.
