High Frequency Word Families is recommended for Kindergarten One and Two pupils to prepare them for Primary One. It can also be used for Primary One pupils to help increase their vocabulary. In this book, there are 32 high frequency word families, generating 256 words.
Word families are useful in early reading and spelling as one word family can generate a number of words. Through a variety of exercises and revision papers, this book helps pupils to expand their vocabulary through recognising how words from particular word families are spelt and how they sound.
