High Frequency Words : Ages 5 to 7 +Flashcards

This book is recommended for Kindergarten One and Two pupils to prepare them for Primary One. It can also be used for Primary One pupils who are not yet able to read or spell high frequency words. There are 128 target words and most of these are high frequency words. The words include most of the 100 commonly used words recommended for Primary One pupils. The words are common in sentences and the pupil will be a better reader if he can automatically read these words. The more fluent the pupil is as a reader, the better he will be in understanding what he reads.

 There are eight worksheets and three revision papers for each term. Each worksheet has six exercises which focus on four words, making up a total of 32 words per term. Each exercise focuses on specific reading or spelling skills.
