Thematic Model Composition P.6

Thematic Model Composition is a primary level series
written with the aim of assisting students in composition
writing.
The Primary 6 edition of the series follow the latest
Primary School Leaving Examination requirements for
Continuous Writing. In keeping with the examination format,
each model composition is accompanied by a set of three
pictures, but may be based on only one, two or all three of
the pictures given.
As with the other books in the series, new vocabulary
used in each composition is shown in boldface type.
A section entitled Words to Learn explains the meanings of
the boldfaced words as they are used in the compositions.
In studying the model compositions, students are
encouraged to focus on learning how to craft interesting
story ideas, use vivid and appropriate vocabulary and
write accurately. It is hoped that as they follow through
each essay, students will develop greater confidence in
writing compositions, both in their daily lessons and in the
examinations.
